Today we visited Solihull, a wonderful town about 30 minutes from Coventry where you can shop until you drop and enjoy displays like this. I was amazed at the size of these hanging baskets and the colour. Really beautiful. The hanging basket flowers could be begonias and fuchsias....(please feel free to correct me).

Oh gorgeous gorgeous flowers! I've spent wee bits of time in Solihull and agree it's a great place. I can't get over these beauties, amazing.
(The block party was definitely like a street party (or street fair), though the one we had was larger than most block parties - many businesses wanted to get involved, not just a few locals and the shop around the corner...it all spanned a half-block in the end, so I guess still more a 'block' than street party :)
Beautiful flower hangings, but I can't help with what type of flower.
I don't know what they are - only that I like them!
Glad you like these hanging baskets. Lulu, we have family who live within walking distance of Solihull town...lucky them. Thanks for detail on block/street parties. All seems to equal lots of fun.
