The Cranes Have Landed

Far Gosford Street

This street was the main route out of
medieval Coventry towards Leicester and London.

Looks like they are planning to build something tall.
I'll see what I can find out
and will report back next week,
hopefully with some shots under blue skies.
Would love to find some nice historic buildings too.

Have a good weekend, AND
thanks for your comments - most appreciated.

Love that title! I hope it isn't something ugly!

I find here that inevitably when they come out on a site, the end result's pretty ugly.

When those cranes go up, something tall usually follows.

It's going to be a hotel.

Sometimes don't you think cities should just declare "Finished!"?

Oh no, I think they escaped from Perth, there were a few missing today :) Hope whatever it is fits in with its surroundings Lauren.

Ha, you fooled me! I was hoping to see birds.

Sorry, Linda. No birds today but I'm working on it for another post :).

You could be right, Grace...I thought of your comments about the huge developments in Perth.

Jack - No chance :).

Thanks, Hazel and Ciel.

Sharon - I'm hoping it isn't too tall and block view of Cathedral.

William - Fingers crossed it is nice looking.
