Yesterday's view from Coombe Abbey Hotel looking towards
Coombe Country Park.
I'll have to get out my flower and tree books to
identify these additions of yellow and purple color here.
Happy Monday.
The pressure is on for me to do a few jobs
around the house so I'll be taking a little break.
Stay well! Back soon :)

That is a lot of early Summer green. Nicely photographed.
beautiful pictures!!
How lovely! I really like that old wall.
Is the tree Laburnam or something like that? I know it in the back of my mind as I saw the trees when I lived in the UK..It begins with an 'L' for sure. That aside, what beautiful shots!

I think you are right, Jane! No idea what those round purple flowers are :).
Your photos give new meaning to the word, "lush"!
Love the new header photo, too!
Enjoy your break! love the yellow in that tree!
Jane has the tree right, the flowers look like they might be a type of Allium. Love all those greens, don't work too hard on your break!
The purple flowers seem to be the Agapanthus
Gorgeous!
Gorgeous photos! I agree the tree is Laburnum and the tall purple flowers Alliums. The lawn, flower beds and topiary are so neat.
I think they're right about the purple flowers...it's any body's guess what the tree is...but they're both beautiful!!!
Two of my favourite plants in one post! Beautiful!
So much green is a treat for my eyes.
Coombe Country Park looks fabulous in spring Lauren! Enjoy your break, catch you when you get back.
Wonderful! Thanks

Beautiful moments that brings to memory this:
“I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read and all the friends I want to see.” – John Burroughs
What a very beautiful park! And yes, the shades of green are simply awesome. Wonderful shots.
What a lovely place. It is remarkable how many shades of green exist in the top photo! The scope of that particular image is really amazing. Hope you are enjoying your break and getting a lot done!
Gorgeous shades of green, especially accented by the purple.
Absolutely stunning!
Picture perfect Lauren, come back soon!
