My Favourite House In Easenhall

Is just through there......

The garden above is typical of this lovely village near Coventry.
We drive through it all the time and I always look as closely
as I can at the home below.  To me, it looks like a home that
could sit comfortably in New England, USA.  Unusual roof and always
beautifully maintained.  I searched and search on the Web to find
out more about it with no luck.  Guess, I will have to knock on the door.
(Hope they don't mind.)

Brooklands, Easenhall
PS.  To you who left a comment yesterday - I change the title (adding 'Lady Godiva') and messed up the link.  You can see my reply if you scroll down the old fashioned way.  Sorry!

Wow - you're right, unusual roof. And that's no small hovel it sits on!

Oh gosh, it's beautiful!! I noticed the old-timey thatch roof too, we saw a couple of those in Kenilworth while on a visit in April - they look so cool!

I can certainly see why it's your favorite. And you have lots of options!

Hummmmm! Now where was I in April. Are we talking this year? I remember your posting some 'postcards from Kenilworth'. Penny is dropping :). Next time you come over you must e-mail me before. That is an order!

I will go and ask an appropriate 'architectural' question one day...and maybe the owner will ask me in for a cup of tea :).

Too true! I think I have a favorite house in every village around here. Good fun.

Just popped by to say, have a lovely break! We live right across a golf course and have a set of clubs, but - shamefully - have not had a chance to play!

Thanks for the sweet note (was it this year, gosh, it seems like ages ago but it was Kenilworth, this April, for a wedding - wish I'd known better back then!! :)

No worries. I didn't join CDP until April. We didn't start exchanging comments until later. Re golf....get out there, Lulu, and have a go. Go to clubhouse for a coffee and then book one lesson or at least take a picture some time, please!
