Coventry City Centre
Photo taken from Binley, Coventry,
through a telephoto lens.
If you look carefully, you'll see the three spires of Coventry.
Christchurch is on extreme left, St. Michael's (Coventry Cathedral) and
Holy Trinity is to the right. These spires all survived WWII and are
soon to be hidden behind a multitude of high-rise buildings -
all student accommodation.
I don't have this view from where I live. But after a short walk
this is what I can see. Brilliant!

Thank you! inSpireIng!
I prefer the spires to the modern buildings!
Pity things get swallowed up in high-rise blocks. I like city skylines, the mix of old and new.
I agree with William's comment. New buildings seem to be popular in cities these days.
Lovely view! Too bad about the high rises.
It will be sad that the vista will be hidden with high rises.
Love the cold city colors. Wonderful view.

I think all the commentators are agreed that the spires beat high-rises! Is there any way to rise up, defeat the high-rises and inspire the spires?
It seems the only way to go these days is up! Enjoy the view while you can Lauren 😊
