Popular trainspotting location midway between
Nuneaton and Rugby on the West Coast Main Line.
Built in 1923, The Flying Scotsman is an icon of the steam age.
My husband (red jacket collar) joined quite a few more
to catch a glimpse as it passed by. Not far from where we live :).

It's a gem. We went to the railway museum in York when I was there and it was fascinating to see the old trains so I would have been out there to see this too!

I was just a young child the last time I saw The Flying Scotsman.
we have one here that just came back after years of being in north carolina and then re-done...whenever it comes through i brings crowds!
p.s. when i say cathiron i feel like i have a lisp :)
