'Goo Stiddy, But Keep Going'

Gumley Village, Leicestershire

See the message on this bench in
'Leicestershire' speak, I think.
Appropriate for the hundreds of
narrowboats that venture
up and down Foxton Locks.

Foxton Locks, Leicestershire
The bench and view above is just beyond
the brick buildings pictured below.

(Below) is the approach to the top lock of 10.

Up and down the hill these narrowboats travel.
Happily there are pubs, restaurant,
coffee shop and ice cream kiosks nearby too.

Quite narrow compared to what I'm used to!

It looks like such a lovely area! That canal is incredibly narrow!

'Goo Stiddy' 😀 oh my gosh the canals are narrow, I think I'd be clashing side to side if I was steering the boat through, it wouldn't be a joyful sight 😀

Hey. Nice work today. Love it.

(Btw got your comment on my Mukilteo blog.
Yes I have several that are quite the same.
I started blogs and was experimenting with my own designs and hymn. Then along came google and wiped me out.
But even tho only one now is my current blog I post the same photos often to the others just st because. Lol.
Cloud hidden was my first blog.
But now it's my city daily photo blog so no problem.)

I love the boat in the narrow canal.
All the photos are very interesting.
Thnx for sharing.
Ciao

Sorry html not hymn.
I thought I checked for auto correct.

I'm guessing one can walk along the canal faster than these narrow boats can travel.

I've never seen any canals that carry boats this narrow! But the canal is beautiful as are your photos. I'd love to travel on one of those boats - stopping of course, at every opportunity, for ice cream, coffee, pastries, etc. :)
