English Rose

Coombe Country Park

It was so lovely here yesterday afternoon.  We
decided to go for a walk at Coombe.
I couldn't help admire these beautiful
pink English roses -
Strawberry Hill.

The first image is looking over the lake at Coombe.
Behind me is the view below -
Coombe Abbey Hotel.   I have shown it many times before.

Lauren, what a gorgeous place to photograph! I love those beautiful pink English roses!! Pink is my favorite color. :) I'll not get a chance to see this lovely spot with me in the USA, but if I EVER make it to the UK then I'd like to see it. I first have to get over being scared to fly and second I need a lot of extra ka-ching. Travel is SO expensive! I'm visiting from SWF. Have an awesome weekend. I wonder if our families are related?

Nice to see you back again. I think Coombe Country Park is for you what Elizabeth Park is for me. Good to see the roses looking good in Coombe in September.
