We visited here last year when the grounds
were open for another annual charity event
known as Daffodil Sunday. It was fun
to see the piano (above) is still there today.
No daffodils this visit, but grounds are still beautiful.
Lancelot 'Capability' Brown designed the
lakes and park between 1745 and 1753.
These beautiful Grade I Listed
Screen, Gates and Gatepiers are amazing.
And, there are wonderful views.....
Newnham Paddox is the private residence of the
Earl and Countess of Denbigh.
Above, one of the lakes and below you can see the silhouette
of the tower of the Church of St Edith in Monks Kirby taken
from the main drive into the park.

This is quite a varied post today. Very Nice!! The photo of the river with reflections is great.

Thank you for these wonderful photos of this gorgeous place you call home! Such splendor. And I'm glad you finally found my piano. I've looked for it everywhere and can't imagine how it got over your way!
Another thing: In my book I have a poem about Edith and I say something to the effect she could never be a saint and now I see there is or was a St. Edith. Very funny!
Have a great weekend!
lovely spot! Is that an old piano in the field? The sounds of nature in such a beautiful spot would be music enough for my ears.
A beautifully pleasant area, and it looks like you enjoyed yourself!
Those gates are incredible and the whole place looks so beautiful!
This is an absolute delight, love the little ice-cream (cara)van, it's like something out of Country Living magazine! And I can't get enough of Morris dancers!
How pretty! The old piano looks a bit sad though.
Beautiful images! The poor piano.
Wow! It is all so beautiful. The lake, the gate, and the folks. I would have loved trailing along behind you.
Those beautiful gates remind me of the ones at the Huntington in San Marino.
A beautiful spot! Love that old piano. Somebody's got a sense of humor!
What a beautiful spot. I love all the reflections, but that piano looks so lonely.
Wow, what a beautiful place. You have some beautiful photos here.
Daffodil Sunday sounds like something I would definitely love to visit. Stunning photographs.
