N Is for Not

'Not' sure what this metal post is.  Any ideas?


It is along side a lake.


And my guess is that is pretty old.


I know there are some clever people out there
who might know the answer :).

I suspect it was part of a barbed wire fence. lovely area for it!

Probably the fence thing Lauren, but also what about a water measuring device. does the lake ever flood? Nah! lets go with the fence idea :)
