Not long ago, I did a sequence of shots here showing
a swan entering the pool at Coombe.
Either this is a different swan (below) or someone has been practicing :).

Actually, it is a different swan. This is the mother to
those cygnets that are growing fast.
Hope you all had a good weekend
and are all set for the week ahead.

They are such protective parents. Don't get between them and their young
Very elegant entry, nice sequence of shots.
That swan has this process down to a system. Must be a "no wake" zone! :)
Swans are beautiful birds but can get rather nasty!
Re your comment on Ocala: I don't know about the windmill, but I know that I'm old and rusty and squeak when the wind blows!
Love the swans!
That was much too easy.
Another LOVELY swan sequence!
ohhhh they are so pretty!
If there were a row of judges sitting there Lauren they would have all been holding up a 10 for sure :} Tres elegant entry, with the smallest of splashes and quite proud of her effort to by the look of it!
p.s. think my back will be ok, taking it easy for a few days, not easy for me :)
I feel like I know the swan population at Coombe pretty well now but having said that I do stay well clear and just let them entertain.
Thank you for your comments.
Grace - Good news about your back!
Lowell - :).
